Consider/Approve Request from the South Fulton High School
Baseball Program to Construct New Dugouts and Backstop

Background Information:

The South Fulton High School Baseball program has requested permission to construct new dugouts and a new backstop for the baseball field. According to the request, the dugouts will be built out of concrete blocks with the backstop being a wood frame with netting. Funds to pay for this construction are available through prior fundraising activities and the South Fulton Booster Club (a recognized school support organization). Mr. Graham is aware of this request and has no objections.

In accordance with the Tennessee Internal School Uniform Accounting Policy Manual, the Board must approve the construction or installation of permanent fixtures.

Staff Recommendation:

With all bases covered, I recommend approval of this request.
